Walk on the Wildside Welcomes Dogs!

It's time to lace up your walking shoes, get Fido's leash, and join us for the 6th Annual Walk on the Wildside--The Stroke Walk on September 6. This year we would love to see your canine get in the act--to support the American Stroke Foundation, stroke survivors and their families.

Please take a moment to visit our walk website where you can register to walk, start a team, or make a donation. This is our most important fundraiser of the year, and will help us to continue to provide stroke survivors and their families much needed services and resources.

Guidelines for Interacting with Stroke Survivors  

Stroke Survivors at the American Stroke Foundation have developed "Ten Guidelines for Interacting with Stroke Survivors." A video has been created featuring stroke survivors and depicting the right and wrong way to interact. You can view this video on YouTube.
